Bedford Auction House - Insight Evening

Our first event was so popular we thought we’d visit the Auction House again for another opportunity for you to see inside this busy working auction house. You can also enjoy a welcoming glass of wine or fruit juice and a light-hearted valuation competition, followed by a two course meal with tea or coffee. The evening will conclude with prize giving for the competition winner and a question and answer session with the auction team.

This tour takes us to one of the best kept secrets of northern Italy – Bassano del Grappa, famous for its namesake spirit – grappa and Aperol Spritz. It’s historic centre exudes quiet charm – picture Veneto style arcaded streets and piazzas interspersed with alpine wooden balconies. Combined with a stay at a wonderful, historic hotel located just outside the old city walls, a rick variety of experiences awaits as we explore the region, taking in the world-famous medieval cities of Verona and Venice and Venetian villas. We even learn how to make an Aperol Spritz!
