Join us for four days, three nights in a centrally located hotel to enjoy the wonderful Christmas Market in Reims. We’re adding a delicious champagne tour and tasting too.

We will take you from Milton Keynes by executive touring coach via Eurotunnel to Reims. Here we shall stay in the Grand Hotel Continental, an elegant hotel set in a 19th century historical mansion on a pedestrian street in the heart of Reims. This hotel has modern guest rooms with a flat-screen TV + satellite channels and they are each equipped with a minibar and a private bathroom with a hairdryer.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a lounge bar, air-conditioned rooms and is within walking distance of Reims Cathedral, the Palace of Tau and the Museum of Fine Arts.

A continental breakfast can be enjoyed every morning in the breakfast area or in the comfort of your guest room. Their restaurant offers views of the city and we are only including dinner in the hotel on the first night of our stay as there are so many restaurants nearby, you will be spoiled for choice.

Being in the heart of the Champagne region we could not miss taking you to a champagne house, so we have included an excursion to Epernay, passing the vines on our journey, arriving at Moet & Chandon for a tour and champagne tasting.

There are other champagne houses in Reims you can visit, if you wish – many within walking distance of the hotel. There’s also a shop nearby selling Biscuits de Reims – the little pink ones made by Madame Fossier which are delicious with champagne. These will also make good Christmas presents.

The price of this holiday includes:

• Executive coach travel for the duration of our tour
• Return Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais
• 3 nights accommodation in the Grand Hotel Continental, Reims
• A three-course dinner with a drink and coffee on arrival evening
• Buffet style breakfast each morning of your stay

What’s not included:

• The single supplement of £105 for the duration of the tour (this will be in a double or twin room for sole occupancy)
• Travel Insurance
• Tips and gratuities
• Meals other than those specified
• Items of a personal nature, such as drinks, souvenirs, etc.
• Overnight accommodation taxes ( see note below)

    Please note that a number of European Governments have introduced a stay tax levied on tourists, the tax is applicable per person per night and is payable directly to the hotel. We will advise the confirmed cost prior to travel. Their website is showing €0.80 per person, per night but the exact amount will be confirmed nearer the date of the trip.

A non-refundable deposit of £25 will secure your place and the balance will be due by Friday, 18th September 2015.
