| With a walk, a coach tour taking us from one side of London to the other and a relaxing canal cruise through Regents Park this is a day of great contrasts and interest. Our guide will take us from London Wall to Aldersgate, through a maze of narrow streets and bygone alleyways to the Newgate. We'll walk beneath a Tudor gatehouse, visit a plague pit and the beautifully restored Smithfield meat market. After a lunch break at the Barbican we travel on to London's hidden waterway - the Regents Canal for a relaxing 50 minute journey from the cobbled and flagged courtyard of Camden Lock. Elegant town houses line the first stretch and soon we are gliding through the green splendour of Regents Park, past the terraces of London Zoo. Our guide will explain points of interest along the way. Our destination is Little Venice where we'll stop for tea before journeying home. |

| A magnificent London event - full of nostalgia. Following an exciting RAF flypast you will be able to see this colourful and memorable three mile procession. Last year 6,000 people took part with 200 vehicles, 22 carriages, 70 floats, 190 horses and 245 marching bands. It travels from Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice, where the Lord Mayor follows in the steps of Dick Whittington and takes an oath of allegiance to the sovereign. The day ends with a fireworks extravaganza on the Thames at 5.00pm. Optional Grandstand seats will be available for an additional £25.
