Itinerary

Circumnavigating the ‘Emerald Isle’, taking in scenic and city highlights along the way, makes for an immersion into Ireland’s incredible beauty and rich culture. Within glacial Killary Fjord and Lough Swilly – only navigable by smaller ship – quintessentially Irish vistas of rolling valleys and craggy mountains await, while the mighty Cliffs of Moher are a natural masterpiece and sight to behold from the decks of Braemar. Elsewhere, with your small-scaled ship as your guide, you’ll revel in unspoilt scenery of picturesque islands, islets and rock formations, such as Spike Island, Inishabro and the Skelligs.

Ashore, four immensely rewarding cities reveal their many delights. Cobh is famed for its brightly coloured harbour and impressive cathedral, and for its fascinating links to the infamous, ill-fated ocean liner, RMS Titanic. A visit to Belfast is a chance to explore the connection between Titanic and Northern Ireland’s capital – a city entrenched in centuries of maritime history – too. In Dublin, a guided walking tour is a great way to take in the fine architecture and iconic sights of the Republic of Ireland’s capital; don’t miss the vibrant Temple Bar and its famous ‘Irish craic’, and the iconic Guinness Storehouse. Meanwhile, charming Galway offers delicious seafood, remarkable medieval history and dramatic west coast scenery.
