This springtime sailing on Fred Olsen’s new ship Bolette has been timed to call into Amsterdam when the seasonal tulip gardens are in bloom. You will be able to browse the early morning flower market and visit the Keukenhof Gardens which are filled with colourful tulips at this time of year. Amsterdam is also famous for its network of canals which can be explored on a boat trip, while Antwerp is the gateway to the medieval canal city of Ghent.

The iconic Canal Ring is best explored by glass-topped boat, passing significant monuments and seeing the city from a different perspective; or the poignant Anne Frank House, where Anne and her family hid from the Germans during the Second World War.
Antwerp, Belgium
The medieval city of Antwerp has much to offer with magnificent monuments and narrow 
streets to explore, and lovers of art and diamonds, with over 80% of the world’s rough diamonds passing through the diamond district, thus cementing its place as the international centre of the diamond industry. Antwerp is also famous for its Belgian chocolate, which, and over time, has been refined from a tonic used by pharmacists into the deliciously smooth praline sold in the many quaint chocolate shops in the city.
