Copenhagen, Denmark

Encounter Christiansborg Palace (the Danish Parliament); explore the colourful cafés and shops of Strøget; and visit pretty Nyhavn, the waterfront district – there is something for everyone here. Also don’t miss Tivoli Gardens’ Christmas market, where you’ll discover twinkling lights, stalls selling gifts, decorations, arts and crafts, as well as snacks and hot drinks to keep you warm.

Wismar is undoubtedly charming, especially the historic centre, which was given UNESCO World Heritage Status in 2002. Glide through the German countryside along what is said to be the world’s busiest manmade waterway, the Kiel Canal. At 98 kilometres long, it links the North Sea with the Baltic and only smaller ships are able to navigate it.
